Selling this rig on consignment for a good friend of the store - this is stunning amplfier, having been meticulously cleaned up and thoroughly inspected by Anthony Saporito of Sapo Amplfier Repair in May 2024. Nerdy vintage amp details are at the bottom of the listing.

1966 Fender Twin Reverb Specs:

  • Power: 85 watts (4x 6L6 power tubes)

  • Speakers: 2x original “Fender Musical Instruments” 12-inch speakers 

  • Controls: Volume, treble, and bass for normal, and volume, treble, bass, reverb, speed, and intensity for vibrato (reverb modded to work on normal channel)

  • Dimensions: 26.5 in x 20 in x 10.5 in 

  • Weight: Approximately 65 lbs

  • Circuit: Twin Reverb AB763 

  • Inputs: Two 1/4 in inputs for normal and vibrato 

  • Outputs: Two 1/4 in outputs for speakers 

Amplfier Service Details:

Anthony performed the following when having the amp in under his care back in May:

  • inspected capacitors (they had been replaced properly prior, no work was needed - death cap had already been removed)

  • IEC cable was replaced with heavy duty new IEC cable and strain relief

  • performed the Sapo Amps version of Rob Robinette’s reverb/trem channel 1 modification

  • replaced the speaker output jack

  • cleaned and de-oxit all potentiometers, input jacks, RCA jacks, etc.

  • tightened all nuts/screws/pots/switches within the amplifier

  • re-biased properly with USA 6L6GC tubes
