Potentiometer Upgrade (Wolf)
Upgrade your guitar rig with the same potentiometers Waldotronics and Jerry Tone Store use in our personal builds. Available in Wolf spec, you can seriously improve the quality of your guitar playing experience with this one simple upgrade. Say goodbye to unreliable scratchy pots - these are the most consistent pots we can find, and are made for use within the Japanese medical industry, primarily. Firm but smooth turn. 1/4 solid shafts.
Included in this bundle:
3x potentiometers
Default values are intended to be used with an active, buffer-equipped guitar.
Wolf Values: 25k audio/log (volume), 500k linear (middle tone) and 250k/250k linear dual ganged (bridge/neck tone)
Note: Mil spec-style pots can make it difficult to solder to the backs of the casings - you will need to use a moderately high temperature on your soldering iron, and will need to sand the backs in order to get solder to stick properly. Alternatively, I recommend using a piece of 10 gauge copper wire and doing a “healy ground bus” style between both ground lugs (lug 1) of your volume and stacked tone pots, then using solder lug washers (for pots and switches) to ground the pot casings to the main bus.
