[USED GEAR] Amplified Nation 50w Trem-Drive Deluxe
more pics and videos coming soon
This Trem-Drive Deluxe head, made by Amplified Nation, is a versatile single-channel amplifier with a fabulous onboard reverb and tremolo. Featuring a high and low input, and 2× 4 ohm, 1× 8 ohm, and 1× 16 ohm speaker outputs, these 50 watts of raw power can be as clean or dirty as you want - this amplifier is an excellent option for any gigging guitarist or home player who wants a reliable and flexible amp to provide anything from “clean chime” to “singing overdrive” sounds. Ideal when paired with a 1×12 or 2×12 cabinet, whether it’s equipped with JBL speakers or something else with more “give,” the Trem-Drive Deluxe is a straightforward, no-nonsense choice for your next amp!
The amp is covered with black suede - not only durable, but also fun to look at!
Features:
3 band treble/middle/bass EQ
high input volume
low input volume
when plugged into high input, guitar runs through the high input volume before cascading into low input volume (think of it as Vol 1 and Vol 2). This allows for unique combinations of overdriven tones
master volume
effects loop (send and return jacks)
bias jacks (for easy tube replacement and bias measurement by qualified technicians)
bias pot (for easy biasing by qualified technicians)
2× 6L6 tubes
4× 12AX7, 1x AT7 preamp tubes
Used gear note: this amplifier is in fabulous, like mint condition - having been purchased new from Amplified Nation by a loyal JTS customer last year, it has been kept in private studio since, and is now on consignment at Jerry Tone Store.
I personally frequently gig with an Amplified Nation 100w Phoenix Fury, and am a believer in the reliability, performance, and sound of Amplified Nation amps (although if you’re familiar with my part-time day job, you’ll know i’m a little ‘biased’, pun intended!) While I’ve only gotten to play one show with a 50w Trem-Drive, I received a sweet compliment on the sound after that show: someone mentioned that it reminded them of 1982 JGB. Fun thing to hear as a guitar nerd :)
